What immediately stands out to me was this ask, "🥘 help organizing a meal train for the first month of postpartum."
Meals are usually a difficult thing for me. And this ask is something that reminds me to even expand beyond the boundaries friends — esp. because I live in a country where I don't speak the language and I've had limitations in the last two years. And I think that for nomads maybe it's about options like that too.
I really appreciate this piece, and I find it hard to know what I need to ask for. Reading your list helps to offer a window inward on my needs. Thank you.
You know I only heard of a meal train for the first time a few months ago. The idea of asking people to feed you felt completely foreign, and again, vulnerable, but radical, too. Thank you for reading and it brings me great satisfaction knowing that reading my needs offers some insight into what yours might be--or even invites you to think about it <3
